Rival Systems Launches Rival One for Excel

Rival Systems has launched Rival One for Excel, a web add-in enabling seamless integration of critical trading data and margin calculations into Excel. This powerful integration enables users to easily subscribe to market data, positions, option volatilities, risk metrics, and trades, all within the familiar Excel interface. Users can also calculate exchange margin for existing positions or input potential trades to quickly analyze margin across futures, equities, and options. The add-in leverages Microsoft’s latest Java Script API, providing cross-platform support for Desktop (PC + Mac) and Web versions of Excel.

Rival Systems Fulfills SOC 2 Type II Compliance

Rival Systems, a leading provider of trading and risk management software, is pleased to announce it has successfully fulfilled SOC 2 Type II security compliance.

“The SOC 2 Type II compliance has been an important step for us and our clients,” said Rob D’Arco, Rival Systems CEO. “It further validates our commitment to providing customers with a secure and trusted system and gives us a great framework to continue to meet the highest standards as our technology and services evolve.”

Building on the previous completion of SOC 2 Type I  compliance, Rival continued to work with IS Partners, LLC to complete the SOC 2 Type II examination.

The Auditing Standards Board of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) developed the SOC (Service Organization Control) report to establish a benchmark criteria of worldwide industry standards and best practices for platform and data security processes.

The SOC 2 Type II report assesses the operating effectiveness of internal controls over a specific time period. SOC 2 Type II audits require a greater investment of both time and resources.
