The Ronin trading tech spinoff is expanding its range of connectivity in response to client demand.

Chicago-based trading technology vendor Rival Systems, a spinoff from trading firm Ronin Capital, has added connectivity to Intercontinental Exchange’s ICE Futures US and ICE Futures Europe markets, giving users of its Rival Trader platform access to data and trading capabilities on the exchange.

Adding access to the ICE Futures markets allows clients to incorporate trading in new product lines into their strategies, including Russell index futures to crude oil, natural gas and soft commodities contracts, and to “leverage the advanced market-making and -taking features of Rival Trader to quote with confidence during volatile markets,” officials say. “As we continue to grow in the US and begin…
